Chiller Engineer

Purpose of the Role
As a Service Engineer, you will collaborate with the engineering team on a variety of HVAC projects and actively contribute to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of equipment operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently work on small, medium, and large chillers
- Prepare and compile dilapidation reports
- Perform work on different types of compressors (scroll, reciprocating, and screw)
- Conduct PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) visits and repair tasks
- Perform advanced fault finding and troubleshooting
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of work completed, maintaining high standards
- Adhere to industry standards, regulations, and internal policies
- Develop a strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations

Desired Skillset and Characteristics:
- Diploma in air conditioning and refrigeration or equivalent
- Category 1 F Gas qualification or equivalent
- Full driving licence
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both engineering and office teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- High level of self-motivation and initiative
- Proficiency in using manufacturers' service software
- Strong understanding of data management and usage
- Ability to work with centrifugal/Turbocor compressors
- Experience with air conditioning, AHUs, and refrigeration systems is desirable
What They Offer:
Holidays of 33 days per annum inclusive of Bank Holidays.
15 days sick pay – rolling 12 months, following probation pass.
Birthday day off or next working day if it falls on a non-working day.
