Are you an Excel and IT expert with a passion for data management, stakeholder collaboration, and infrastructure projects? Looking to elevate your career within the rail sector? We are seeking an EDM & Integration Consultant to join a dynamic team supporting a major client project. This role offers a fantastic chance to take on a client-facing position where you will make a real impact on high-profile infrastructure developments, including HS2.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Requirements Integration Body (RIB) in delivering client-specific projects.

  • Manage and update all RIB Interfacing Requirements Management trackers and registers using Smartsheet.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards to provide a real-time view of project progress.

  • Coordinate and issue Requirements Integration Working Forum (RIWF) invites and follow-up communications.

  • Attend RIWF meetings, capturing comments and updating the Requirements Issues Register (supporting the Integration Consultant).

  • Support the RIB with ad hoc tasks, ensuring data accuracy and seamless integration.

  • Create bespoke Smartsheet registers and dashboards to meet project and client needs.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and contractors to gather data for Verification & Validation (V&V), consolidating findings and reporting outcomes.

  • Synchronize collected data with client systems and maintain up-to-date, accurate records.



Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in engineering disciplines, ideally with involvement in construction and design projects across multi-discipline areas.

  • Railway industry experience.

  • Engineering degree or similar qualification.

  • High-level skills in data manipulation and report/dashboard presentation.

  • Advanced Excel proficiency and IT skills.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to facilitate meetings and data coordination.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work closely with clients and stakeholders.

  • Demonstrable experience in performance monitoring and reporting.



Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with Smartsheet.

  • Requirements Management knowledge.

  • An understanding of system safety principles.

  • Awareness of Network Rail Engineering Management of Projects.
