Heat Pump Engineer

Purpose of the Role

As a Heat Pump Engineer, this role involves working with the engineering team to maintain, fault-find, and repair air source and ground source heat pumps, while actively contributing to the overall performance and reliability of the systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently maintain and repair air source and ground source heat pumps.
  • Prepare dilapidation reports.
  • Conduct advanced fault-finding procedures.
  • Ensure accurate, timely reporting of completed work to a high standard.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant Health and Safety regulations.

General Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of engineering practices.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures relevant to the role.
  • Engage in ongoing personal development and participate in necessary training or development activities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Perform any additional duties as required in line with the responsibilities of the role.

Desired Skillset and Characteristics:

  • Relevant qualifications in Unvented Hot Water Systems, including WRAS.
  • Category 1 F Gas qualification or equivalent.
  • Full driving license.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both the engineering and office teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • High level of self-motivation.

What They Offer:

Holidays of 33 days per annum inclusive of Bank Holidays.

15 days sick pay – rolling 12 months, following probation pass.

Birthday day off or next working day if it falls on a non-working day.
