Purpose of the Role
As a Heat Pump Engineer, this role involves working with the engineering team to maintain, fault-find, and repair air source and ground source heat pumps, while actively contributing to the overall performance and reliability of the systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently maintain and repair air source and ground source heat pumps.
- Prepare dilapidation reports.
- Conduct advanced fault-finding procedures.
- Ensure accurate, timely reporting of completed work to a high standard.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant Health and Safety regulations.
General Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and improvement of engineering practices.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures relevant to the role.
- Engage in ongoing personal development and participate in necessary training or development activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Perform any additional duties as required in line with the responsibilities of the role.
Desired Skillset and Characteristics:
- Relevant qualifications in Unvented Hot Water Systems, including WRAS.
- Category 1 F Gas qualification or equivalent.
- Full driving license.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both the engineering and office teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- High level of self-motivation.
What They Offer:
Holidays of 33 days per annum inclusive of Bank Holidays.
15 days sick pay – rolling 12 months, following probation pass.
Birthday day off or next working day if it falls on a non-working day.
Quarterly Bonus scheme, based around performance attendance and adhering to company processes and procedure.
Up to 1 hour paid travel time per working weekday.
