Motor Mechanics Instructor / Trainer - South London - SEN School - £150+ per day - ASAP START

We are recruiting for x4 trainers / instructors of Motor Mechanics for x2 schools based near Merton, South West London!

The successful candidates will create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment for students aged 4-16 with SEMH needs. This is to work with a specialist curriculum, designing individualised learning steps and supporting students' independence and understanding of motor vehicle maintenance, repair, and diagnostics (Motor Mechanics). You will lead small class sizes, be supported by a teaching assistant, and be provided with excellent resources.

Key Responsibilities: Motor Mechanics Trainer/ Instructor

Teach and guide students through practical and theoretical aspects of motor vehicle maintenance, repair, and diagnostics (Motor Mechanics)

Deliver lessons on various mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.

Foster a positive and supportive group atmosphere.

Monitor and assess student progress, adapting approaches as necessary.

Engage with parents and caregivers to support student development.

Requirements/Qualifications - Motor Mechanics Instructor/ Trainer* In-depth knowledge and practical experience with motor vehicle mechanics, repair, and diagnostics (Motor Mechanics)* Relevant mechanical/City and Guilds qualifications.* Good knowledge of how to train or intstruct young people.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
