Role: Technical Manager

About the Role
Main Developer clients are after an experienced Technical Manager to join their West London teams.
This is a permanent, full-time position with travel to site and office in the Residential Building Sector. Prior experience working for a Developer, working with either RC frame projects, cladding/recladding, are a huge advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process, managing design consultants, external stakeholders, and relevant authorities (e.g., planning, building control).
- Ensure design solutions meet project requirements, comply with building regulations and industry standards, and optimize project cost and efficiency.
- Collaborate effectively with project teams, ensuring the timely delivery of technical information for construction.
- Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide regular on-site support and guidance to project teams, ensuring design intent is implemented effectively
Essential Skills and Experience:
- A solid understanding of construction principles, design, and project management.
- Knowledge of building regulations, construction techniques, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A relevant degree or equivalent qualification (e.g., in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management).
- Prior experience working on construction sites is an advantage.
