Our client, a professional membership body based in Central London is currently recruiting for an Membership Manager

The Role & Responsibilities of the Membership Manager

Deliver an excellent service to the membership body. Carry out the membership development strategy, ensuring the growth and retention of the membership.

Duties:

  • Ensure membership growth and revenue targets are met
  • Draft and oversee membership communications and marketing to foster greater membership engagement and growth
  • Act as the principal point of contact for all new and existing members
  • Annually design and communicate the overall member programme to key stakeholders – both internal and external
  • Maintain up to date membership data on the CRM system
  • Review and process new member applications
  • Maintain a pipeline of potential members
  • Act as secretary to the membership committee
  • Contribute to the Business Plan and report progress on Team and Individual KPOs as agreed

Essential skills:

  • At least 2 years’ experience within a membership or subscription based organisation
  • Strong communicator
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Familiarity with new digital communications platforms such as MS Teams, Zoom and ON24
  • Excellent time and priority management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
