My client is now recruiting for a Conflict Checking Analyst to join their accountancy firm in London. The role offers a large amount of hybrid working, 2 days in office, 3 days at home.

This role is crucial to maintaining the integrity and reputation of the firm. It helps to ensure that clients receive the highest level of service and advice possible, within the permitted boundaries of ethical and regulatory rules.

The accountancy group has been established for 100+ years and has more than 500+ staff.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Working with Ethics, Technical, and other internal teams to resolve identified conflicts of interest.• Enhancing, developing, and maintaining the business’s conflict-of-interest policy.• Collaborating with different service lines to establish tailored conflict-checking requirements.• Liaising with Moore Global to ensure a clear and effective intra-Moore conflict-checking process.• Performing regular conflict checks for both inbound and outbound requests.• Maintaining accurate records of all conflict-of-interest disclosures and resolutions.• Providing clear communication and regular reports to the Head of Onboarding on conflict-checking activities.• Educating employees on the importance of identifying and managing conflicts of interest.• Partnering with the Onboarding team to ensure a seamless client integration process at MKS.

Requirements

•Proven experience in conflict-checking roles, preferably within an accountancy firm.•Some exposure to international clients and conflict resolution.•Familiarity with the ICAEW Code of Ethics is preferred.•Strong ability to engage with Partners and client handlers and effectively address objections.•Some knowledge of AML onboarding requirements is desirable.•A proactive self-starter with initiative and drive.•Excellent communication skills.
