About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Risk Analyst/Assistant to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in identifying, assessing, and mitigating various risks across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management strategies and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and maintain risk registers and other relevant documentation.
  • Monitor and track key risk indicators (KRIs) and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of risk mitigation plans.
  • Conduct risk-related training and awareness programs.
  • Support internal and external audits and regulatory examinations.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on risk-related matters.
  • Stay abreast of relevant industry best practices and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience within Financial Services, Professional Services or the Insurance Industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with risk management frameworks and methodologies (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
