One of our market leading gas contarctors are seeking an experienced and proactive Gas Field Manager to oversee and manage a team of domestic gas engineers within social hosuing. The successful candidate will ensure that all jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard while delivering outstanding customer service.You will be wokring in the Southwark area.

Competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To Lead, support, and develop a team of gas engineers, ensuring they meet performance targets and deliver high-quality service.
  • Schedule and allocate jobs effectively, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely completion of work.
  • Conduct regular site visits and quality checks to maintain standards and compliance with gas safety regulations.
  • Enforce a strong health and safety culture, ensuring all engineers adhere to regulations and company procedures.
  • Track and report on engineer performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing coaching or additional training where necessary.
  • Oversee accurate completion of job records, reports, and compliance certificates.
  • Provide guidance and technical support to engineers on complex issues.

Requirements:

  • Gas Safe registration with relevant ACS certifications.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in domestic and/or commercial gas engineering, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • In-depth understanding of gas systems, installations, and maintenance.
  • Full UK driving license.
