Are you a passionate Production Manager, looking for an exciting new role?

Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Production Manager to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients based in North London, working as part of their Manufacturing team.

The Production Manager will oversee all aspects of the production process, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing a team of skilled fabricators, cutters, and polishers, optimizing workflows, and collaborating with other departments to drive continuous improvement.

Our client is a leading supplier and fabricator of high-quality natural stone products, catering to residential and commercial projects. Known for their craftsmanship and attention to detail, they have built a strong reputation in the industry and are looking for a dynamic individual to join their team.

Principle Responsibilities for the Production Manager:

  • Oversee day-to-day production activities, ensuring efficiency and quality.

  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet project deadlines.

  • Manage a team of skilled workers, providing leadership and training.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Maintain high-quality standards by enforcing proper techniques and conducting regular inspections.

  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure availability of raw materials and tools.

  • Collaborate with design and sales teams to address project specifications.

  • Monitor and report on production metrics to identify areas for improvement.

  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.

  • Drive initiatives for process improvement and resource optimization.

Person specification:

  • Proven experience as a Production Manager in a Natural Stone environment.

  • Strong knowledge of stone fabrication techniques and machinery.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

This is a full-time permanent Production Manager position, working Monday to Friday, offering an annual salary of Competitive, depending on experience, plus annual company benefits to include 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, pension scheme, discount scheme on all company products, and free car parking.
