Senior Early Years Practitioner | Westminster, W2 | £100 - £120 per day | Long-Term to Permanent | February 2025

Long Term Futures are working in partnership with a highly regarded primary school in Westminster, W9, seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Early Years Practitioner to take a key leadership role within their Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional with experience managing an EYFS setting to make a meaningful impact in a nurturing and high-achieving environment. The successful candidate will oversee the daily running of the Early Years provision, supporting both children and staff to ensure outstanding teaching, learning, and care.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the Early Years setting, ensuring high standards of teaching and care
  • Support and mentor EYFS staff in delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate activities
  • Work closely with teachers and senior leaders to enhance pupil progress and wellbeing
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health & safety, and classroom management

  • Monitor and assess children's development, implementing tailored interventions where necessary

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience leading an EYFS setting, either as a senior practitioner or room leader
  • A deep understanding of the EYFS framework and best practices in early education
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with a proactive and positive approach
  • A passion for nurturing young learners and supporting their development
