We are seeking experienced mental health nurses (RMNs) to join our team and cover shifts for one of our leading NHS clients in South London. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified professionals to provide essential mental health care in community settings.

Position Details:

  • Position: Band 5 RMN

  • Salary: £22 to £27 per hour

Role Description:

As a Band 5 RMN, you will be delivering community mental health nursing services to patients with serious and enduring mental health conditions, personality disorders, and acute phases of illness. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing tailored interventions, referrals, and liaising with other healthcare providers within and outside the community setting.
  • Conducting risk assessments and developing care management plans aimed at minimizing harm and improving patient outcomes.
  • Ensuring integrated working with multidisciplinary teams, including social care providers, probation services, and specialist healthcare services.

Skills & Experience:

  • NMC Registration as a Mental Health Nurse
  • Experience working in secure or community settings
  • Mentoring qualification (desirable)
  • Experience in delivering Trauma-Informed Care is advantageous.
