Are you an experienced District Nurse looking for ongoing contract agency work in London?Join Search Healthcare, we provide high quality community nursing care across Central, North, South, East and West London. We are actively seeking skilled District Nurses to join our team supporting NHS patients withing their own homes and the community.

Duties:

  • Community Nursing Care: Providing essential nursing care to patients in their own homes, including wound care, administering medications and managing chronic conditions.
  • Patient Assessments: Conduct assessments of patients' health needs, develop care plans and monitor their progress.
  • Health Education: Educate patients and their families on managing health conditions, medication, and lifestyle changes to improve health outcomes.
  • Collaborative Care: Work closely with GPs, other healthcare professionals, and social care teams to deliver integrated care.
  • Home Visits: Conduct home visits to assess patients' living conditions, provide support, and identity and any potential health or safety risks.

Requirements for the role:

  • NMC Registration
  • Experience in District/Community nursing is essential for this post as well as excellent community skills
  • Occupational Health and DBS clearance will be requested prior to working
