Job Title: Locum Practice Nurse
Location: West London, Notting Hill
Type: Locum Position
Schedule: 3 days per week (starting ASAP, ongoing)
Rate: Up to £30 per hour
We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Practice Nurse to join our team on a locum basis. This role offers an immediate start with a flexible schedule of 3 days per week, providing a great balance between professional commitments and personal time.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality nursing care, including patient assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Perform Cytology procedures and manage long-term conditions, ensuring patients receive consistent, top-tier care.
- Collaborate with the wider practice team on essential clinical duties, such as chronic disease management, immunizations, and health promotion initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with practice policies and healthcare regulations.
- Contribute to the efficient, safe, and smooth operation of the practice, ensuring patient care is of the highest standard.
- Proven experience working as a Practice Nurse in a clinical setting.
- Proficiency in Cytology and managing long-term conditions (e.g., diabetes, asthma, COPD).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse clinical needs of patients and the practice.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in both patient care and administrative tasks.
