Reed Education is thrilled to collaborate with a nurturing nursery in SW2 that is currently seeking an Experienced Room Leader to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead a room of 2-3 year olds and make a positive impact on their early development.
Position: Room LeaderLocation: SW2Start Date: ASAP or JanuaryHours: Full-time, shifts between 7:00 AM - 6:30 PMSalary: Starting at £26,000 per year, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team in providing exceptional care and education for children aged 2-3 years.
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for children.
- Support and mentor nursery staff, fostering a collaborative team spirit.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to children's assessments and progress reports.
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a nursery setting, ideally with 2-3 year olds.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and child development.
