HR Business Analyst

We are currently hiring for a Business Analyst with Workday implementation experience to join one of our Insurance clients on a 6-month contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with stakeholders (underwriters, claims, actuarial teams, brokers) to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements.
  • : Map and analyse current business processes within the (re)insurance lifecycle (policy administration, claims management, risk assessment, (re)insurance contracts, etc.). Propose enhancements to optimise business performance and operational efficiency.
  • Map out clear well-structured process flow and business requirements leveraging Agile methodologies where necessary
  • in managing the product backlog, ensuring that requirements are well-defined, prioritised, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Ensure that all business requirements consider the regulatory, compliance, and risk frameworks specific to the (re)insurance sector, such as Solvency II or Lloyd's minimum standards.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly in documenting requirements using process flows, user journeys, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience working with systems and processes specific to the (re)insurance sector (e.g., policy administration systems, claims management systems, and actuarial models).
  • Proficiency with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Monday, or similar, as well as the MS suite.
  • Knowledge of business process modelling techniques (e.g., BPMN, UML).
  • Familiarity with systems development and implementation in the Insurance/ Reinsurance space
  • Workday or similar implementation experience
  • HR Experience
