We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner for an immediate start in a dynamic role within a local authority in SE London. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to our local community while working in a complex organisational environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Engage in strategic business partnering across various departments to enhance organisational performance.
  • Manage and lead a team, setting clear performance targets and providing regular feedback.
  • Handle employee relations effectively, ensuring compliance with local authority regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support the overall objectives of the organisation.
  • Provide expert advice and support on HR issues to senior management and other key stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven track record as a Senior HR practitioner within a complex environment, preferably in local government.
  • Strong experience in Business Partnering and managing Employee Relations.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing teams and setting performance targets.
  • In-depth knowledge of local authority operations and legal compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with all levels of the organisation.
