Health, Safety and Building Safety Advisor
Location: East London
Salary: 35,000- 40,000 plus Benefits

Irwin and Colton have been engaged by one of the UK's largest real estate organisations to identify a new Health, Safety and Building Safety Advisor. The organisation has a multibillion-pound turnover and specialises in a wide variety of commercial and residential property.

This role will be working across a renowned estate featuring numerous modern residential and commercial properties, of which 66 of them are high-rise residential. The position will report to the Health, Safety and Compliance Manager.

Responsibilities of the Health, Safety and Building Safety Advisor will include:

Assist with Building Safety Cases and Gateway applications for planning, preconstruction, and completion stages.
Work alongside the Health and Safety manager to ensure that all statutory repairs, servicing and maintenance obligations are undertaken within the timescales specified in accepted guidance.
Assessment and monitoring of health and safety performance across the estate, and making suggestions for improvements

The successful Health, Safety and Building Safety Advisor will have:

NEBOSH general certificate (or equivalent) and membership of IOSH
Proven experience in health and safety within a residential real estate environment
Knowledge of Building Safety Act 2022, Fire Safety Act 2021, and related legislation.
Experience within safety management systems
