Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join the Community Stroke Rehabilitation Team. This role involves working with stroke patients to support their recovery, improve independence, and enhance overall quality of life through tailored rehabilitation plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and manage a caseload of stroke patients in the community.
  • Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists and speech therapists.
  • Provide education and support to patients and caregivers.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to service development.
Key Requirements:
  • HCPC registration and right to work in the UK.
  • Minimum 6 months NHS experience (mandatory).
  • Experience in stroke rehabilitation and community settings.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and discharge planning skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team.
