We are seeking a dynamic Band 7 Occupational Therapist with expertise in Emergency Department settings. This role focuses on rapid assessments, targeted interventions, and efficient discharge planning to ensure optimal patient care and transitions.

• Conduct swift and detailed assessments for Emergency Department patients.
• Implement effective therapy interventions to prevent admissions and expedite safe discharges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute care plans.
• Educate patients and families on managing conditions after discharge.
• Handle a diverse and fast-paced caseload while maintaining high standards.
• Accurately document all care activities in line with professional standards.
• Engage in clinical governance and contribute to ongoing service improvements.

• HCPC Registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Extensive experience in Emergency Department or acute care environments.
• Expertise in rapid assessment, clinical decision-making, and discharge planning.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork.
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure settings while managing a dynamic caseload.
