A Camden-based client is seeking a Community Mental Health Occupational Therapist for a full-time, ongoing position.
Candidates should have experience working with clients who have mental health difficulties and must possess an Occupational Therapist qualification, along with HCPC registration.
The role offers a salary of £35,000 to £45,000 per year, depending on experience.
Responsibilities include conducting functional assessments, providing adaptive equipment, and delivering group programs as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

One of our biggest clients in Camden are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Community Mental Health Occupational Therapist on an ongoing basis . The client offers full-time contracts, a fair and manageable caseload and further training in your portfolio.

Main Duties for the Community Mental Health Occupational Therapist includes.

Provide specialist functional assessments including assessments of daily living skills using the Model of Human Occupational assessment tools to ascertain level of functional ability, related risk factors, level of support, and accommodation needs to implement community care plans.
Provide adaptive equipment and maintain a high standard of service user care.
Lead on and deliver group programmes alongside other OT staff and to carry a generic caseload of care coordinated clients as a member of the multi-disciplinary team.
Provide specialist recovery/vocational/social inclusion focused assessments and advice, with an emphasis on supporting clients with their employment, education, and training goals.

Experience of working with clients who have mental health difficulties.

HCPC Registration
Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
Eligibility to work in the UK
Occupational Therapist Qualification
