Accounts Administrator (Hammersmith)

The ideal candidate will comes from an accounts background, be available immediately and happy to assist during a busy period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Month/Quarter/Year End:

    • Assist with month-end accounts to trial balance, including balance sheet reconciliations, preparing month-end journals, and prepayments/accruals.
    • Support inter-company recharges and reconciliations between UK and global entities.
    • Assist with UK VAT return preparation and reconciliation.
    • Contribute to quarter and year-end closure activities.
  • Compliance/Tax:

    • Collaborate with external suppliers to ensure accurate VAT and CIT reporting and payments.
  • Accounts Payable:

    • Support the AP accountant in overhauling the accounts payable process.
    • Process, code, and prepare supplier invoices for approval and payment.
    • Assist with managing Soldo prepaid credit cards and handling employee expenses.
    • Reconcile supplier balances.
  • Cash Flow:

    • Prepare Daily Treasury Reports (DTR) and forecast cash flow for the next 3 months.
    • Use vendor/payment terms knowledge to enhance cash flow forecasting.

Skills required

  • Experience with SAP 4/HANA.
  • Part-qualified or qualified by experience in an accounting role with strong knowledge of UK accounts.
  • High attention to detail and ability to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Proficient in IT systems, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Confident communicator and quick to pick up new systems.
