Catering Equipment Service Engineer

Location: London

Salary: £33,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience

The Role

They’re on the lookout for experienced field service engineers to join their service and maintenance team! You will ideally have experience servicing catering equipment, but experience with any kind of hospitality-based plant or machinery would be considered, such as refrigeration, bakery equipment, bar equipment, coffee machines, vending machines, dishwashing or laundry equipment. You should be interested in progressing your career through the support of an industry-leading and an Award-Winning company.

Working as part of their service and maintenance team, you will collaborate with experienced engineers and have the opportunity to work on prestigious commercial kitchens in London, including 5-star hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and servicing of commercial catering equipment
  • Working collaboratively as part of a large team.
  • Dealing directly with their customers including other engineers and chefs.
  • Working in Central London, Greater London and the Home Counties.
  • Continuous manufacturer training and development opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in servicing and maintaining catering equipment, bakery equipment, and other hospitality machinery.
  • Gas Safe/COMCAT and/or F-Gas is desirable but not essential; full training is given!
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience using Field Service Management software on a mobile phone, tablet or PDA.
  • UK Driving License.
