We are recruiting three experienced Repairs Inspectors to work within the Disrepair Function for our Housing Association client. This is an exciting opportunity to manage and oversee disrepair works across properties in London, Hertfordshire, and Essex. These roles are initially offered on a 3-month contract, with potential for permanent positions based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out scoping of works for disrepair cases and conducting post-inspections to ensure completion meets standards.
  • Compiling detailed reports following inspections, documenting work progress and results.
  • Working directly with residents in a social housing setting, addressing disrepair concerns and providing updates.
  • Collaborating with contractors to ensure efficient, high-quality repairs and resolving any issues.
  • Split between field and office: 2-3 days in the office and the remaining days on-site across London, Hertfordshire, and Essex.

Profile

Requirements:

  • Experience in repairs and inspections within the social housing sector is essential.
  • Strong report writing skills and experience with contractor management.
  • Ability to engage with residents and contractors, ensuring clear communication and effective problem-solving.
  • Experience working across a range of properties and regions.
