Location: Finsbury Park

Description of role: Responsible for responding to resident requests by call and email, diagnosing the repair to allocate appointments to the in house and/or subcontracted workforce. Ensure both the customer and the client receives an excellent standard of customer service

Day to Day:

  • Responsible for arranging void repairs
  • Responsible for effectively arranging diaries and liaising with residents, operatives and other stake holders in regards to void repairs.
  • Take ownership of administrative duties in the void repairs department.Providing effective administrative support to the management team or function • Maintenance of filing systems
  • General contract duties including correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, memos and emails
  • Arranging internal meetings and taking of minutes
  • Manage and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
  • Make use of computerised packages including Microsoft.
  • Undertake tasks such as copying, laminating, scanning etc

Essential Criteria

  • Social Housing and Repair and Maintenance background.
  • Experience in planning/scheduling jobs using planning system.
  • Understanding of the various trades and jobs normally allocated to direct labour staff or subcontractors
  • Understanding the importance of reducing Work-in-Progress - Jeopardy planning, Further Works management, applying of extension of times
  • Experience of trade job durations
  • Experience of health and safety considerations when planning e.g. asbestos
  • No hybrid working
  • Good level of written English e.g. ability to rite responses to complaints
  • Good computer skills
  • Good communication skills e.g. ability to communicate with different stakeholders at different levels to conclude / close jobs
  • Passionate about service delivery and customer satisfaction.
