The Apprentice will be employed by Poppletons Recruitment Ltd but will work on tasks for the other 2 Businesses also. This includes Poppletons Property Pros Ltd which support Property Managing agents, and Castletown Apartments Partnerships, a holiday let business.

Main Role & Responsibilities:

  • Office based role covering administrative duties
  • Creating bookings and Messages for Client
  • Taking Calls and continuing communication with Clients through email.
  • Assist with Recruitment related tasks
  • Operate Xero Bookkeeping, Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint and M365

Training will also be provided on booking software (Currently using Amenitiz, ServiceM8 & Firefish)

Desirable Skills and Personal Qualities:

  • Prior customer service experience
  • Prior basic bookkeeping knowledge (Advantageous not Necessary)
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Good Organisational Skills
  • Ability to take own initiative to complete tasks

Entry Requirements:

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
