My client are a well established organisation who are a import, design and install business, partnering with high-end interior fit-out projects.

They are looking for an experienced Finance Manager who can also manage bookkeeping duties for the business, working with both the Finance Director and Managing Director.

The role will undertake financial transactions and reporting as well as general administration duties and office management. Candidates will need to have had previous exposure to Sage and ideally Sage Payroll.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Support the FD with month-end management accounting
  • Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, and allocation of payments.
  • invoice preparation and bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with processing payroll.
  • CIS return processing.
  • Support the year end accounts process.
  • preparation and management of VAT returns
  • General administrative duties, including scheduling appointments and managing diaries.
  • Office management including facilities management.
  • Manage sales and compliance documentation.

This is a broad role which offers opportunity to get involved in a wide number of business areas. You will need to be able to manage all areas of the role independently and improve and build on processes as and when required. Experience of Sage is essential, experience of Sage Payroll, CIS returns and Eque2 would be advantageous.
