Overview: We are seeking an experienced Office Manager with extensive experience in the housing sector. The ideal candidate will be an all-rounder, capable of managing day-to-day office operations, supervising two housing officers, and ensuring the smooth running of our office. Our organization manages social housing on behalf of the local council, aiming to deliver excellent, value-for-money housing services that meet the needs of our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Supervise and support two housing officers, ensuring effective performance and development.
- Office Operations: Oversee daily office activities, including managing supplies, equipment, and facilities.
- Event Organization: Plan and coordinate office events and meetings.
- Visitor Management: Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Tenant Coordination: Schedule and manage tenant bookings and appointments.
- Administrative Support: Take minutes during meetings, manage correspondence, and maintain records.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager, preferably within the housing sector.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., MS Office).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
