Leading Architectural Company in Canary Wharf is looking to recruit an experienced Office Manager to join their team!

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the office, front-of-house and general office administration/PA duties for two Directors.

This role will really suit an all-rounder who is happy to muck in and really make the role their own.

You will be based on the Reception so will be a real people person as well as an experienced administrator. As the company expands further they will look to recruit a full-time Receptionist to work alongside you in this role as you develop more on the Office Management/PA side.

Duties involved:

  • Answering and fielding calls, managing post and booking meeting rooms
  • Ensuring reception area and meeting rooms are neat and tidy
  • Ordering office supplies and negotiating rates
  • Overseeing any IT issues, reporting to IT support team
  • Setting up desk spaces - phones etc
  • Responsible for the office equipment maintenance agreements and contracts
  • Liaising with the cleaner to ensure the kitchen is kept clean
  • Managing cleaning contract
  • Troubleshooting and assisting with all office equipment issues
  • Diary management/PA support
  • Arranging all office functions and events

To apply for this position you will have:

  • Some previous Office Management experience or similar
  • Be happy to oversee Reception as well as the Office Management & PA duties
  • Be really flexible in your approach to work
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Good working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Printers
  • Ideally be immediately available or on short notice
