Job Title: Office Operation Manager

Location: London Bridge

THE COMPANY

They are a major international property and consulting consultancy, who are in an exciting period of development with challenging expansion plans to meet their 2030 strategy. They are currently looking for a highly motivated Office Operations Manager to join their team. This role has come about due to an internal promotion, and will involve overseeing a team of 10 secretaries and a junior office manager. This is a busy role that requires adaptability, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task, The role presents an excellent opportunity for a proactive, process driven individual to take responsibility for the vibrant London Office.

THE ROLE

The role will lead and manage the office operational aspects for the London office, including managing the wider administration team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily office operations and ensuring administrative functions are performed efficiently.
  • Line management of the Junior Office Manager and wider administration team.
  • Day to day running of the office, including implementing all necessary policies.
  • Management of Office Operations budget, tracking expenditure and approving invoices.
  • Ensure London maintains a high level performance and completion rate with compliance matters and business related targets.
  • Work with other Operations and Office Managers across the business to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Oversee and provide an excellent on-boarding experience for new starters.
  • Organise office socials, events and work with D&I communities to implement initiatives.
  • Management of CSR events and initiatives.
  • Oversee London compliance, H&S and environmental audits, ensuring successful completion.
  • Responsible for office communications, keeping London up to date with all necessary information.
  • Responsible for Office Health & Safety.
  • Oversee maintenance, facilities, and environmental items, ensuring records are kept up to date.
  • Work with IT to ensure the office equipment is in good order.
  • Point of contact for the building reception and operations team.
  • Ensure the office environment is in line with our values and culture.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role ideally within the same sector.
  • Experience working in a similar role in an office of 75-200 people
  • Experience with office moves
  • Confident managing people
  • A dynamic, collaborative team player adept at prioritisation and multitasking.
  • Must always maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • A "firm but fair" attitude
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience with audits would be beneficial
  • Experience managing people
  • Minimum GCSE and A' level qualifications.
