Location: Southwark, LondonContract: Full-Time, Long Term, Temp to Perm options available for the right applicantHours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Are you an organized and proactive individual with recent experience in school administration? Our large and welcoming Primary school in Southwark is seeking a dedicated administrator to support our school office team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of our school and be part of a supportive community.

Administrator Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling general inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate student and staff records, including attendance and contact information.
  • Assist with the preparation of school documents, reports, and correspondence.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, events, and appointments as required.
  • Provide support for school admissions and registration processes.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely distribution.
  • Support the school's financial processes, including processing invoices and monitoring budgets.
  • Assist with the organization of school events and activities.
  • Maintain a welcoming and efficient front office environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Recent experience in a school administration role, with a good understanding of school systems and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using office software, including SIMS, ParentPay, Arbour, Scholar Pack, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding support to staff, students, and parents.
  • An understanding of and respect for the Catholic ethos of the school.
