Our client, a big name in fashion publications, is looking for a Social Media Manager to join their team, who has experience working across fashion and luxury that can help them in preparation with the second edition of their publication.A note that this role will initially be a 6-month fixed term contract with the potential to go permanent (to be discussed at the end of the contract. This is also a fully remote role.The Social Media Manager will help with not on the strategy around content, but also the execution of content creation. This includes coming up concepts and capturing content. This role is ideal for candidates who are hands-on and is an out-of-the-box thinker with a deep understanding of luxury fashion dynamics. They should possess a keen eye for aesthetics and be able to create content that captivates a high-end audience. A collaborative spirit is essential as this role requires working closely with various stakeholders to achieve common goals. The ideal candidate will come from a fashion or luxury background who is familiar with the industry and how to operate in it. As there is a big focus on Paris, it would be beneficial if candidates had any pre-existing contacts in France, can speak French, or located in Paris (relocation is not necessary for this role as it is fully remote).The role will typically involve the following responsibilities and qualifications:Main responsibilities
- Craft and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the edition’s target audiences.
- Generate high-quality, engaging content tailored for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest. This includes graphic design, video editing, and storytelling that reflects the brand's identity.
- Lead and manage social media campaigns from inception to execution, ensuring they are visually striking and effectively communicate the edition’s message.
- Monitor and report on social media performance metrics weekly, monthly, and quarterly to inform future strategies. Use insights to optimize campaigns for better engagement and reach.
- Foster relationships with digital agencies, influencers, and affiliate partners to enhance visibility and engagement within the luxury fashion community.
- Stay updated on current fashion trends, cultural shifts, and social media developments to ensure the brand remains relevant and competitive.
Experience and Education
- Ideally 5 years’ experience in social media management and content creation preferably within the luxury andp/or fashion sector.
- A degree in Social Media, Marketing, Communications, Fashion, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite for content creation; familiarity with social media management tools and analytics software.
- Fluency in French is highly desirable; connections within Parisian fashion circles will be advantageous.
