Handle Recruitment is seeking a conscientious Social Media Manager with a passion for sports and travel to join our client's rapidly growing sports circuit.Location: Central London (Regular overseas travel)Pay: £40,000 to £45,000 based on experience5 days a week in the office (Flexibility around travel)Must be able to speak both Spanish and English fluently.Out-of-hours work may be required during tournament weeks (Monday-Sunday), including travel to tournaments to oversee content production at tournaments and support the team as neededSocial Media Manager overview:

Join our client, a global professional padel circuit, as Social Media Manager. You will oversee and implement the content and social media strategy, managing digital channels, campaigns, and content. Working closely with the Head of Content and Brand and key stakeholders, you'll play a key role in driving awareness, engagement, and growth for the sport. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to the growth of a leading force in the world's fastest-growing sport.

As Social Media Manager you will:

  • Work closely with Content & Brand, Commercial and Communications teams to manage and deliver impactful content and digital campaigns aligned with our clients content strategy and framework.
  • Oversee content production and delivery, setting and improving standards, driving creativity, and planning amongst the team, including visibility for all key stakeholders.
  • Drive content innovation and execution for tournaments, events, and the wider business, staying on top of social media trends.
  • Manage external relationships with local tournament organisers to ensure timely execution of partner content across all channels, from ideation to completion.
  • Work closely with key internal stakeholders to proactively plan content requirements prior to tournaments.
  • Analyse social media and digital metrics, turning insights into actionable initiatives that support content strategy across all channels.
  • Tracking budgets and reporting back to the Head of Content & Brand accordingly.
  • Support the Head of Content & Brand in growing a team of full-time and freelance content creators, to deliver premium content and deliver against social media objectives and KPIs.
  • Ad hoc tasks as required to meet Premier Padel's changing organisational requirements and objectives.

You will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in social media, ideally within the sports industry. Experience with working with athletes is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish, with fluency in additional languages a plus. Excellent copywriting, proofreading and editing skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering content plans and social media campaigns to increase visibility, profile and organisational reputation.
  • Experience working with and developing a small team of both in-house and freelance social media executives and content creators.
  • A passion for social media and a strong understanding of its nuances, current trends and tactics for audience engagement, reach, and growth.
  • Knowledge and experience in managing owned channels (website & app).
  • Knowledge and experience with both organic and paid social media.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and graphic design software.
