Carry out agreed duties to support the day-to-day running of the school.

  • Act as a fire warden and a member of the school’s first aid team.

    In addition to their core duties, all members of staff within Mulberry UTC are responsible for:

  • Promoting and modelling high standards of professional competence
  • Contributing to the general good order and discipline of the UTC
  • Supporting the development of positive relationships with sponsors, partners and the local community, including parents and local businesses
  • Implementing school policies and procedures
  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students attending Mulberry UTC
  • All staff are expected to have a clear understanding of the aims, objectives and ethos of the UTC, an awareness of its role in the community and a commitment to its vision of providing an outstanding education to all young people.

    Processing of purchase orders
  • Payment of invoices and creation of sales invoices
  • Dealing with and responding to finance-related queries
  • Monitoring monthly spending on key items
  • Preparing for weekly cheque and BACS payment run
  • Supporting monthly budget monitoring process
  • Checking of FSM and post-16 bursary eligibility
  • Administration of payments for post-16 bursary
