We are seeking a temporary Admissions Assistant to join our admissions team in a higher education setting. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an admissions role within a university, focusing on processing applications using our student records system. Familiarity with SITS (Student Information Technology System) is highly desirable. We are looking for someone who can start immediately.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Process student applications efficiently using the SITS system.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth admissions process.
- Handle inquiries and provide information to prospective students and applicants.
- Assist in the preparation and organisation of admissions events and activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience working in an admissions team within a university setting.
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of SITS or similar student records systems.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
