Behaviour Mentor - Kensington

Do you have a passion for supporting young people to overcome challenges and achieve their goals? A welcoming and inclusive school in Kensington is seeking a committed Behaviour Mentor to join their team and make a positive impact on students' lives.

The Role

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with behavioural and emotional challenges.
  • Help students develop positive behaviour, self-esteem, and social skills.
  • Work alongside teachers and SEN staff to implement effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Act as a trusted role model and mentor, promoting a positive school culture.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience working with children or young people, particularly those with behavioural or emotional difficulties.
  • Be patient, empathetic, and skilled in building strong relationships.
  • Possess excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Be adaptable and able to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.

Experience in education, youth work, or working with SEN students is highly desirable.
