We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join a vibrant and supportive Primary School in Camden. This is a full-time position, offered through an agency, where you will play a crucial role in nurturing and supporting the development of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with class teachers to plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities.
  • Observe, assess, and record children's progress in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.
  • Provide targeted support for children with additional needs, including leading small group interventions.
  • Build strong partnerships with parents and carers, sharing information about children's progress and well-being.
  • Maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment.

Requirements

  • A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 3 or above preferred).
  • Proven experience working in an Early Years setting.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different environments and work effectively as part of a team.
  • A current enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
