Charity Recruitment are recruiting for a Fundraising Officer working for a well-known Social Welfare Charity based near Waterloo in London. This is a temporary position for six months, to start immediately.
As the Fundraising Officer you will be supporting in managing campaigns for both acquisition and retention across various channels, including digital (PPC, banner ads, social media), direct mail, email, inserts, and DRTV. You will develop briefs and supporting materials for all campaigns, coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure they have the necessary information for successful campaign execution. You will partner with the Digital team to consistently monitor, analyse, and review campaign performance, optimizing opportunities to promote through online channels and using tools to gain deeper insights into web traffic.
As the Fundraising Officer you will create and maintain a collection of marketing materials, ensuring they feature the latest legacy messaging, and provide the Fundraising teams with compelling content for cross-marketing initiatives. Working closely with the Fundraising Manager you will develop an inspiring supporter journey both online and offline, with enhanced web content to engage supporters.
Experience:
Strong background in Fundraising or Individual Giving roles with proven success.
Experience in executing fundraising activities, including digital campaigns, and tracking/reporting on their effectiveness.
Knowledge of Fundraising principles and the platforms used to run successful campaigns.
Ability to adapt and write compelling copy, as well as review and provide feedback on creative materials.
Proficiency in IT tools such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, Teams, and databases.
