About the Role
As a Humanities Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across key stages, inspiring students to explore the past, understand the world around them, and develop critical thinking skills. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in humanities subjects (e.g., history, geography, or religious studies) in line with the national curriculum.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure each learner achieves their full potential.
- Foster a love of learning through creative and innovative teaching methods.
- Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities and school events.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- A degree in a relevant humanities subject.
Experience:
- Previous experience teaching humanities subjects at secondary level is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
