About the Role:Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced and passionate Year 6 Teacher to join a thriving primary school in Islington. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead a Key Stage 2 (KS2) class through a critical academic year, preparing students for their transition to secondary school.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
Assess, monitor, and support student progress, ensuring all pupils reach their full potential.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Maintain strong communication with parents, guardians, and external stakeholders.
Contribute to the school's extracurricular activities and wider community initiatives.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably Year 6.
Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and SATs preparation.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Commitment to fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
