Handle Recruitment is seeking aspiring B2B sales professionals looking to build their career with a global media organisation, focusing on the events and conferences division of the business.
*This is a short-term temporary role initially with the view to extend into a longer term contract. Hybrid working in Central London, pay rate £14ph-£14.50ph dependent on experience + opportunity to earn commission*
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying relevant delegate prospects and delivering a persuasive and compelling case for why they should purchase a ticket to events.
- Building relationships with delegates, so they see the brand as a key part of their
- annual calendar and come back to events year-on-year.
- Meeting and exceeding weekly, monthly and annual revenue targets across your portfolio.
- Developing an expertise on the agendas and issues of interest to prospective delegates within your assigned sector, with a view to improve conversion rates.
- Achieving weekly and monthly KPIs including call time and dials outs, set by the Head of Delegate Services Acquisition.
- Calling and engaging with prospective delegates, providing a clear articulation of the event proposition and obtaining new registrations.
- Growing an extensive knowledge of the key players and organisations within your assigned sector, with a view to ensuring you have the right people and seniority in the room.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Exposure to working in a B2B sales role.
- Confidence in making outbound calls to senior clients and working to targets.
- Research and lead generation skills, particularly over LinkedIn.
- A willingness to learn and develop a sales career with a business long term.
