Receptionist Opportunity - Independent School Start Date: ASAPAre you an experienced education professional with excellent administrative and organisational skills? VNA Education is excited to be working with a welcoming independent school in London to recruit a professional Receptionist on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with prior experience in schools to contribute to the efficient running of the school office.About the Role:As the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors, you will play a pivotal role in creating a positive and professional impression of the school. Working as part of the administrative team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the school's front desk, greeting visitors and handling enquiries in a courteous manner.
  • Answering and directing telephone calls efficiently.
  • Maintaining accurate visitor logs and safeguarding procedures.
  • Assisting with general administrative tasks, including managing correspondence, filing, and maintaining records.
  • Supporting school staff with office-related tasks as required.

This full-time role is available for an immediate start and offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic school environment.Required experience:

  • Have prior experience working in schools or the education sector, specifically in an administrative or receptionist role.
  • Be confident using school management systems such as iSAMS (or similar) and other IT platforms.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be organised, reliable, and capable of multitasking in a busy environment.
  • Hold a valid DBS check on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
