Welcome Steward, temporary role, £13.15 plus holiday pay, Museum in Central London

Our client, a world-renowned museum in Central London requires a temporary Steward to cover a number of shifts over the Christmas and New Year period. This role is outside (warm coat provided) and you will require a DBS prior to starting. There will a paid training day prior to the first date of work.

Shifts are 9:00am to 5:00pm and dates worked are Saturday 21st December to Sunday 5th January 2025 inclusive - with the exception of 24th, 25th, 26th December.

The main duties of the Welcome Steward role are:

  • To offer an engaging and friendly customer experience to visitors
  • Queue management
  • Answering queries - an interest in History is an advantage
  • Ensuring visitors have the best experience possible

The successful candidate will have a friendly and helpful nature. You will be enthusiastic about providing the best visitor experience. Previous visitor experience work within a heritage or cultural organisation is an advantage.
