- Processing payroll: Ensuring payments are accurate and timely, and calculating statutory deductions
- Administering pensions: Enrolling employees in pension schemes, processing contributions, and liaising with pension providers

Ensuring compliance: Staying up to date with legislation and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations, tax laws, and pension auto-enrolment requirements

Supporting employees: Handling payroll-related queries and providing advice and support to employees

Preparing reports: Preparing and submitting payroll-related reports to government agencies, and producing annual P11D forms

Assisting with audits: Assisting with internal and external audits

Coordinating reporting: Coordinating the reporting of pension documents to pension organisations
Profile
- Keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills both spoken and written.
- Good knowledge of Pensions, in particular NHS Pensions and the ability to advise on best practice in general pension related matters.
- Previous experience of working in a Payroll and Pension Administration role.
- Good all round payroll knowledge.
- Experience of working in both a public and private sector Payroll Department is preferred, particularly a private sector organisation with NHS pension scheme members.
