Core Duties Include: > Preparation of payroll reports. > Processing pension contributions. > Calculate maternity, paternity, and sick pay in addition to progressing with related administration. > Calculate overtime, unpaid leave, and other leave etc. Administration of salary sacrifice schemes. HMRC filing. > Ad hoc projects as required. On the job, training and mentorship by a CIPP tutor. What you'll need to succeedAn enthusiastic and proactive individual passionate about starting a career in payroll with ideally some experience already gained elsewhere. Ideally, 2-3 years UK payroll processing experience and willingness to study for a Level 5 Payroll qualification. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. An ability to demonstrate a high level of numeracy and consistent attention to detail. Ability to exercise honesty and discretion. Good interpersonal skills and being able to work independently and as part of an effective team. Flexible individual who, due to the nature of the position, will be open to working additional hours if necessary. What you'll get in returnFlexible working options are available.
