- Process end-to-end, high-volume monthly payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment of wages.
- Manage payroll inboxes, responding to employee queries efficiently.
- Process new starters and leavers, ensuring all relevant payroll data is updated.
- Handle statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, and SPP.
- Monitor and manage employee data and timesheets for payroll accuracy.
- Generate payroll reports and reconcile payroll data to ensure correctness.
- Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Accurately calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
- Provide employee support, resolving payroll-related queries from staff and management.
- Process and maintain essential payroll documentation such as P45s and P60s.
- Previous experience in payroll processing within a high-volume environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory payment processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in payroll calculations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to support employees and resolve queries effectively.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
