This role is Office based, with an opportunity for Hybrid working
Job Duties:- Process payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with all payroll regulations and company policies
- Calculating salaries - Gross and Net, taking into account deducions like taxes, social security, pension contributions and health care specific allowances
- Handle payroll inquiries from employees and management
- Calculate and process deductions, bonuses, and overtime payments
- Prepare payroll reports for management review
- Data collection and vertification
- Proven experience as a payroll officer
- (PREFERRED) Has worked for a Clinic, Hospital, Dental Practice or Care home in a Finance role previously
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in using payroll software and MS Excel
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification
Experience:At least 2 years of experience in payroll processing
Knowledge and Skills:- Understanding of HMRC regulations and PAYE
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional certification in payroll (e.g., CIPP)
- Experience working in the healthcare or dental industry
This role involves working in an office environment, typically during regular business hours. Some flexibility may be required during peak payroll periods.
