This role is Office based, with an opportunity for Hybrid working

Job Duties:
  • Process payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with all payroll regulations and company policies
  • Calculating salaries - Gross and Net, taking into account deducions like taxes, social security, pension contributions and health care specific allowances
  • Handle payroll inquiries from employees and management
  • Calculate and process deductions, bonuses, and overtime payments
  • Prepare payroll reports for management review
  • Data collection and vertification
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a payroll officer 
  • (PREFERRED) Has worked for a Clinic, Hospital, Dental Practice or Care home in a Finance role previously
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in using payroll software and MS Excel
Education:

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification

Experience:

At least 2 years of experience in payroll processing

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of HMRC regulations and PAYE
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional certification in payroll (e.g., CIPP)
  • Experience working in the healthcare or dental industry
Working Conditions:

This role involves working in an office environment, typically during regular business hours. Some flexibility may be required during peak payroll periods.
