Payroll Specialist - £55,000 - £60,000 + 10% Bonus + Great Benefits - City of London

Frazer Jones are delighted to be supporting a leading name in financial services to recruit a Payroll Specialist to join on a permanent basis.

Our client is requiring you to be in 4 days per week.

The Role:

Manage the outsourced payroll process, including the preparation of monthly payroll and payroll tax filings. Work closely with HR and global finance teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and bring best practices to the global payroll function.

Reconcile payroll-related expenses with the monthly journal entries provided by the payroll vendor.

Review and post journal entries for payroll-related expenses in the General Ledger on a monthly basis.

Conduct monthly reconciliations for payroll benefits and payroll tax liabilities.

Provide assistance with ad-hoc payroll and benefits inquiries from employees across the globe.

Ensure adherence to SOX404 requirements and compliance with relevant tax laws, including necessary filings and reconciliations.

Collaborate with both internal and external auditors to assess and refine payroll processes.

Guarantee compliance with payroll and tax regulations globally.

Assist the HR and Finance teams in documenting global payroll and benefits procedures.

Skills required:

International payroll knowledge.

Strong excel skills

Cloudpay & workday system knowledge would be an advantage
