This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong payroll experience, and enjoys working with people. You'll have the opportunity to be hands-on with payroll systems, while also contributing to HR operations that enhance employee experience.Key Responsibilities:Payroll Administration:
  • Oversee the complete payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for around 80 employees.
  • Perform weekly checks and prepare for the monthly payroll cycle.
  • Collaborate with internal teams regarding starters, leavers, overtime, and other payroll-related matters.
  • Generate and review weekly and monthly payroll reports using systems like Opsyte and XERO, ensuring timely payment setups.
  • Manage sick leave, parental pay, and payslip processing.
  • Handle overtime, Time Off in Lieu (TOIL), and bonuses.
  • Investigate and resolve employee payroll queries efficiently.
HR Administration:
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding paperwork, ensuring that all employee records are accurately maintained.
  • Keep payroll data updated in the HR system, including contracts, salary changes, and bonuses.
  • Administer employee benefits and manage holiday requests and sick pay.
  • Draft and manage employee communications, including pay rise notifications and other correspondence.
Qualifications:
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Previous experience in payroll processing and HR administration is preferred.
  • Familiarity with payroll systems like Opsyte and XERO is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills to handle payroll and HR queries effectively.
