Payroll Team Leader

Location: London once a week - fully remote after April

Salary: Circa £42,000 (dependant on experience)

Working Schedule: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours a week

This role is currently once a week in London and then fully remote after April 2025

About the Role

A well-known brand is looking for an exceptional Payroll Team Leader to join their team and manage a team of 2!

If you have supervision experience, processed timesheets and have managed high-volume in-house end-to-end payroll then this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process the payroll from start to finish for approximately 3000 employees
  • Manage a team of 2
  • Statutory payments
  • Check Payroll
  • Manage starters/leavers
  • Produce and send P45s
  • Manage pension and tax
  • Parallel runs
  • Answering queries
  • Bank reconciliations

Requirements:

  • Experience processing high-volume, in-house payroll from start to finish.
  • Processed timesheets
  • Advanced Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • CIPP qualified (desirable)
  • ROI end-to-end payroll experience (desirable)
  • Highly organised, professional, strong attention to detail, proactive, driven
